We’re thrilled to announce our brand refresh and an extensive investment in a new state-of-the-art facility.

Since our inception in 2014 by founder Jake Lavelle, JPL Flavours has been committed to pushing the boundaries of flavour innovation and delivering exceptional customer service. Through these principles, the company has achieved remarkable growth, reaching an impressive £8.45 million in revenue in 2022, on-target for £10+ million for 2023.

Managing Director, Jake Lavelle commented, “We’re coming up to our 10 year anniversary next year and realised it’s time for a change. The original logo has served us well but as we’re growing so rapidly, I knew it was time for some significant changes.”

The brand refresh represents an exciting evolution for JPL Flavours. While maintaining the iconic orange and green elements from the original logo, we have revamped our visual identity to align with a modern and forward-thinking approach. This update reflects JPL Flavours’ dedication to staying at the forefront of flavour creation for food and beverage.

Investment for growth

JPL Flavours has made substantial changes to its structure, reinforcing our commitment to excellence. We have welcomed a new Operations Director, Marketing Manager, Technical Sales Manager and NPD staff while also investing in the growth and development of our existing employees.

New premises

But that’s not all! We have secured a new, larger premises in Bassendale Road, Bromborough, a decision driven by the need to keep up with increasing demand. This new facility, double the size of the current site in Neston, will play a pivotal role to enable us to honour our commitment to providing industry-best lead times for both sample delivery and manufacturing.

The Bromborough site will also feature a Customer Innovations Suite, cutting edge virtual reality and alternate reality suites which will substantially increase Research & Development capabilities.

The total investment in this expansion stands at an impressive £6 million, illustrating our dedication to providing the highest quality flavours to our clients and partners. We anticipate the premises will be available for customer visits late 2024.

Market insight

We’re staying true to our core values and will continue to focus on innovation. Our goal is to work in close partnership with food and beverage manufacturers, offering flavours that enhance the products and appeal to the end user. The investment made in 2023 will put JPL Flavours in a perfect position to continue to deliver.
